What the trade data shows
UN Comtrade shows Nigeria reporting motorcycle-part imports (HS 8714.10) of about USD 24 million in 2024 and about USD 26 million in 2023. Of the 2024 total, about USD 8.4 million came from India, against about USD 15 million in 2023.
India still supplies about a third of what Nigeria imports, but its share fell from about 58% to about 35% in one year while the total stayed about the same. In plain terms, Nigerian importers are buying from more than one source, and a supplier that quotes clearly and ships reliably has a real chance.
What your import needs
Nigeria Customs Service documents describe Form M as mandatory for imports, completed through an Authorised Dealer Bank whatever the value of the goods and whether or not foreign exchange is used. The same documents list regulatory certificates, depending on the goods, a pro forma invoice and an insurance certificate among the papers behind it.
Ask your clearing agent and your bank which certificates apply to the parts you order. We prepare the export side from India to your port and send the pro forma invoice you need for your Form M.
One container, several brands
Most parts importers sell more than one brand. Instead of three small shipments from three suppliers, we can gather Bajaj, TVS, Hero or other parts into one LCL shipment, or fill a full container when your volume is there. One invoice, one packing list, one shipment to track.

How we ship
- Send your list: Brands, models and part numbers or photos of the parts. A spreadsheet or a WhatsApp message both work.
- We check and quote: We confirm which parts we can supply and quote for your destination port. Prices depend on the list, the brands and the quantity.
- Pack and consolidate: If you buy from more than one brand, we can bring the parts together in one mixed LCL shipment instead of several small ones.
- Ship FCL or LCL: Full container (FCL) when the order fills a container, LCL when it does not. We tell you which makes sense for your volume. We ship from any major Indian port.
Documents with every shipment
- Commercial invoice
- Packing list
- Indian export shipping bill
- Bill of lading from the shipping line
- Certificate of origin, when your customs asks for it
Tell us your port and your clearing agent. We check what your customs and bank need before we quote.
Common questions from parts importers
Do you supply motorcycle spare parts to importers in Nigeria?
Yes. We export genuine parts for Bajaj, KTM, TVS, Hero, Yamaha and Royal Enfield to importers and distributors. We sell to businesses, not to individual riders. Send your list and destination port and we quote.
Can I buy parts for several brands in one shipment?
Yes. We can consolidate parts from different brands into one mixed LCL shipment, or fill a full container if the volume is there.
Do you give me a pro forma invoice for Form M?
Yes. Once you accept a quote we issue a pro forma invoice for your bank to use when you open the Form M. Nigeria Customs describes Form M as mandatory for imports, so please open it before the goods ship.
What HS code do I use for motorcycle parts?
Motorcycle parts are normally under HS 8714.10. Duty and any standards requirements depend on the exact part, so confirm the final classification with your clearing agent.
FCL or LCL for my first order?
For a first order most importers start with LCL, so they can test the parts and the process without renting a whole container. We tell you what fits your volume when we quote.
Are you an authorised distributor of these brands?
Exim Kithab is an independent exporter and is not affiliated with these manufacturers. We supply genuine parts and ship from India. If you need to know more about a particular lot, ask us before you order.
